Gary Rance is a scientist, academic and author. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and in February 2008, his first book was released internationally (http://www.pluralpublishing.com/publications_tassr.htm).
He is also a practicing artist and has been exhibiting his sculptural works for more than 20 years. His recent pieces have employed a range of media, predominantly cast bronze and carved stone (serpentine). The current series involves sensuous, figurative works, are all imbued with the fizz of something bubbling…
