ARTIST STATEMENT
"I have an enduring interest
in the relationship between man and the landscape.
I believe it's important to combine both the intuitive and subconscious to produce essential allusions to the experience of the landscape.
Usually, I paint my local
semi-rural area where man's incursion is clearly seen. The response to
the location informs the work, deciding it's structure, form, space and
light."
