ARTIST STATEMENT
My current paintings are predominantly sourced from the inspiration of the light that affects three-dimensional objects. I see beauty in many forms, some mundane and ordinary to most – but all can be lifted into a higher realm.

I love the stories that accompany these objects. For instance, the life of a doll and how it changed the owner’s journey. The life they have in their own space and how that reveals itself as I paint it.

In my daily life and travels abroad I am constantly inspired by these objects and themes of instant reflection.
